Dark souls tomb of the giants no light

I read somewhere that when I locate Dusk to purchase a Cast Light spell as later on I would need it.can't remember where but I am sure I'll know it when I get there. My question is I have just freed her from the Golem and I saw her summons sign on the floor and called her up. I now have the choice to purchase the Cast Light spell (even though I am not a socerer). How many of these do I need to buy for later, I don't really want to find out I have to track her down again because I ran out!Can someone advise? According to the wiki, the spell lasts 5 min and u have 3 uses.

Dark Souls Tomb Of The Giants Light Source

So in total it will last u 15 min in Tomb of Giants. You will need more than that it you want constant light source throughout the area.

However, each spell can be bought only once from one merchant in each playthrough so unless u find another merchant that sells this spell, u won't be able to purchase more.Having a const light source will help u out a lot but it's not absolutely necessary. I finished the area with only the skull lantern.

U can manage pretty well if u use the spell exclusively for fighting and use the lantern (found in the area) for exploring. I use cast light all the time, 15 minutes of light is more than enough to kill the few mobs between bonfires, or die trying in which case you get all your cast light charges back.If you choose not to increase your intelligence then you can use the skull lantern, or pick up the sunlight maggot instead. As for the others spells, well chameleon got me 20k souls because the invading player got bored and decided to jump off a cliff, I wasn't in the mood for pvp at the time. I have a habit of buying all spells etc from venders, just in case I decide to pursue them later on.
