The beach is exquisite, what a shame they don't keep it clean. It is filthy! Covered in rubbish, food packages, bottles, plastic.
So sad to see that they do not appreciate what they have as with a little time and effort it could be very nice. The cabins are an acceptable size, but filthy. We found coiled up black worms in the beds as well as ants, and cockroaches on the walls and a toad in the bathroom. The staff are rubbish, the food is appalling!
The literally serve the foulest food and yet you can smell a very good aroma coming from the kitchen. Then they have the audacity to bring out a very varied and tasty looking meal for the staff and eat it in the same dining room where paying guests are being served utter rubbish.
They ran out of bread for breakfast which was all my children were eating, and then we saw them pull out a fresh loaf for themselves a few minutes later. It's the worst place I've ever been in my life. Extremely beautiful beach area. Good for photography.
The beds are covered with 5. hotel quality linens.
If going to the marine park, the time given by the resort is longer than others, you can spend your time happily there. The canteen is clean. Food served are good.
6.the boat boys are nice, they are helpful and friendly. Cons: 1 we came during upgrading construction, everything dangerous are scattered every where considering this is a resort. No safe practice. 2.some staff especially at the canteen are not friendly at all, they treat the place like boarding school or something, the foods cover can't be opened until the time although it is already there. My room leaking during the raining time. We complained but no actions taken.
4.beaches nice but dirty, full of trash, some even dangerous trash. We help to pick some in our area. Considering this is a private area. We went to this vacation on a weekdays.
There is not so many people. More to the private beach. The girl receptionist is friendly except the other workers. We take full-board package which is including breakfast, hi tea, lunch, dinner (BBQ) and also snorkelling.

Food- All the food is delicious as a ‘kampung style’ food. We really love the food, it suits with our taste likes. For the bbq, its only provide hot dog, chicken wings and fish ball. Not so b-b-q. We not expecting a fancy dinner but it should be more selection of food at the buffet line.
Room - The room is nice. Just beside the beach. But the problem is, there are too many ants in the room. Dont ever bring food to the room unless plain water. The ants is everywhere (red ants).
Bedsheets full of stain, the toilet not clean but its okey. Snorkelling- We expecting to have a nice snorkelling which is to have a nice coral view, fish and all. But they only bring us at 2 point of snorkelling due to heavy wave. The coral is not even nice (the place that they bring us). But they bring us to the turtle point, that was amazing than other point haha. Second day, they bring us to marine park snorkelling.
Too crowded and the view not even nice. Too strict to wear full set of snorkelling which is life jacket and all. The point is not even deep so that we are not wearing any life jacket. Beach - The beach is amazing! For those who looking forward to have a nice view, private beach and all.
I can suggest to stay at here. Location - Redang mutiara beach resort is not located at long beach. It’s doesn’t have any mini shop or mini restaurant to chill here. If you looking forward to have a chill restaurant and mini shop, you can stay at long beach island. At mutiara, you have to bring along mineral bottle and snacks by your own self. As i said, its a private beach and not so many people are staying here. Different with long beach, long beach island is very crowded and so many people.
Activities - The beach is absolutely amazing! You can chill and relaxing at the beach. They also provide hiking service and have to pay Rm10 per person. Veryyy tired but worth it! Its take 45 minute to go up and 10 minute to go down 😂 For those who think Rm10 is expensive, you can go by yourself. We are not expecting to have a fancy vacation. Its just worth with our paying.
Everything was fine and wonderful. We just chill at the beach and not even stay at the room (only at night). For those who expecting to have a good stay, you can stay at long beach island and pay for 4 star hotel. Dont expect to pay less and you can get as what u expect. Tips- Bring bottle and snacks. Download a movie to watch at night. Bring snorkelling equipment or otherwise you have to pay for the equipment.
We went to Redang Mutiria Beach Resort from Singapore for 3days 2night total 7 person. 1,Food - Very Very Very minimum food,no tase no variety,important things is no restrant also you cant buy outside food also 2,Alcohol - Totally no alcohol if want to buy you need to book a boat and go to another beach and buy,(Need to pay for the boat) 3,Rooms - Very congested, not so clean,don't have hot water, water is so slow, No wifi also 4,Beach is nice clean water,full of white sand, good scenery,good for relaxation. Please don't choose this resort, i think better you can choose plangi beach resort.
