Pet Pal Divinity Original Sin 2

I'm trying to figure out how many more options those who take Pet Pal get for quests and alternate methods to solving things than those who do not. If you know how much XP they give you, that's even better.Because my 'does not' character doesn't seem to have a lot of quests - especially since I flubbed TWO so far (failing to immediately intervene on Elohdi's behalf after entering, and failing to play the game with the kid in the Grotto), which leaves me with far fewer options for leveling up to level 3, never mind level 4. I COULD restart, but my actions were not at all unreasonable, and I shouldn't feel compelled to play the game one specific way each time.I'm trying to figure out if Larian basically expects all parties to take Pet Pal in order to keep up with the XP curve.Re: How many 'Pet Pal ONLY' quests are there?04/12/16 02:01 PM 04/12/16 02:01 PMJoined: Sep 2016Posts: 218. Resolve situation with Elodi, Kana, and Burro.

300 for nonviolent, 480 for 2 kills. Can get both.2. Have a human resolve the situation with Fara. Give a Yarrow Flower to Migo for healing ring. Turn in Amiyo's Ring to Magister Yarrow.

Discover the Underground Fire Slug tunnel. Manually dig the spot if necessary (Shovel on the hotbar). In the Caverns, Discover the Ancient Stone Hatch leading to Lord Withermore. Sneak past the Frogs upstairs and stand next to the water.

Standing in this location grants 600XP, for no reason. The frogs won't spawn if the character is sneaking.9. Explore the hidden path on the beach. The location Gawin would lead the player to. 100xp for discovering the camp and 100xp for some dialog options with Coral, e.g. Retrieve Griff's Drugs from Stingtail and free Amyro.

240xp when getting the oranges, 840 xp for turning them in, and 840 xp for freeing Amyro. At this point, you should be some amount of XP into level 2 without having fought anything. At this point I'd recommend a little combat, if not sooner.Fights in order of approximate difficulty:Choosing to fight when resolving Elodi, Kana, and Burro.Kill the lone Fire Slug in the Cavern. 600xpCorrupted Turtles on the hidden beach. 300xpDefeat the assassin sent to kill Stingtail. 1000xp for kill, 600xp for saving him.Kill the 3 frogs.Kill the 3 crocs.

Black Cat is a NPC in Divinity: Original Sin 2 (DOS2) which follows the first character in party it sees. You can converse with it using the Pet Pal talent, but it doesn't tell you much and seems confused. Black Cat information. Will follow character at beginning of campaign when you arrive in Fort Joy. Black Cat location. Divinity: Original Sin 2 Walkthrough. Character Creation. However talent-wise you WILL need Pet Pal early on to help with an achievement so make sure you grab a companion with it, if you. How can the answer be improved?

360xp for kills, 600xp from Gawin. (This unlocks teleport, which gives several new ways to get XP). To me there's a decent amount of experience available without pet pal, though I did do a couple of fights underleveled. I killed Migo after giving him the yarrow with a party of level 2s (though had to rez two members), and then did the fire slugs underground.

It's tough, but satisfying. I found I just have to be liberal with my item usage. Spending a lot of time crafting stuff and selling what I don't need for a profit would probably make it a whole lot easier too.I do think the beginning would be very tough on tactician mode, especially without Pet Pal, though extra enemies might also offer some more XP. Because my 'does not' character doesn't seem to have a lot of quests - especially since I flubbed TWO so far (failing to immediately intervene on Elohdi's behalf after entering, and failing to play the game with the kid in the Grotto), which leaves me with far fewer options for leveling up to level 3, never mind level 4. I COULD restart, but my actions were not at all unreasonable, and I shouldn't feel compelled to play the game one specific way each time.I replayed the first part of the game so I could get some XP numbers and updated my other post with those values.Since Elodhi was killed before you could intervene, you can still kill her murderers manually for 480 xp. You do miss the opportunity for a peaceful resolution (worth 300xp), and you lose the opportunity to also kill her yourself (240 xp). If you weren't planning on double/triple dipping you actually won't lose any XP here (small loss of 540xp if you were). For the kid in the grotto, you are referring to the hide-and-seek game to reveal Withermore, correct? The game itself isn't worth XP, and you can still manually dig for the entrance to collect the 720xp for discovery and get the quest from Withermore.Basically, you shouldn't be too far behind if you do this!

Even with the many classes available to play in the base game, hardcore players of Divinity Original Sin 2 may find themselves in need of a few new options for more variety in their replays. For this, they can turn to the class mod or mods available from Heleane.Providing characters with full re-skins and new abilities, these mods allow players to take on the role of and, each with their own unique spins on absorption and draining abilities from other classes.

Dive into each battle like a wraith in a horror film, sucking the life out of enemies and darting to and fro with special mobility skills meant to allow you to become as shadow. Sometimes, the simplest mods can provide the best boons. Case in point: the mod, which offers more variety in loot drops for Divinity Original Sin 2 players who choose to use it.

Not only does this increase the drop rate of more powerful and useful weapons, but it increases the rate of discovering something new across every field of equipment and items.Gone will be the days of grinding without end for a new item, replaced by a few hours of fighting against enemies for a new blade or amulet that gives your character the edge in future battles. It does take a bit of the chance out of the game, but with the time you’ll have for other quests and characters, it’ll be a worthy sacrifice. Let’s be frank: While some Divinity Original Sin 2 players could care less about how their character and their equipment looks, many more will actively hamper their abilities to maintain a certain look or aesthetic. This can be resolved, however, with the mod, an enhancement which alters the appearance of mixed armor pieces to match and look more natural. No longer will your character look like a ramshackle mess of mettle, leather and glowing magical bits; instead, it’ll all flow together into an outfit worthy of a chosen hero of the gods. Better still, the mod will apply to any new equipment gained and equipped as well, making it so that your character will never look unfashionable again. Another simple but sweet mod, the mod offers Divinity Original Sin 2 players the Pet Pal talent free of charge, allowing them to chat and converse with furry companions right from the get-go.

No longer will you have to wander the lands of this 100-plus hour adventure, able only to talk with humans, elves and other races.Instead, you can take to the high roads and converse with dogs, cats and bears alike, assisting them in everything from obtaining a tasty treat to tracking down a lost mate who wandered off into the wilds for an unknown reason. It’s a simple way of opening up the game and providing more quest content to take part in, and with this mod, everyone can be sure they won’t miss out on it. Divinity Original Sin 2 is a big game; not just in the content it offers, but in the actual size of the world it contains and how long it takes to trek and schlep across it.

Dozens upon dozens of hours can be spent traversing the overworld alone, adding to the already sizable amount of time players will spend playing the game. With the help of the mod though, this becomes a far less prescient problem.Increasing any character’s running speed by 25 percent, you’ll be shocked at how much time you save getting to where you need to go, zipping across the overworld and through environments to get to the action of the game as soon as possible.

It should be noted, though, that this mod does not apply to combat, where your character’s speed will return to normal. That’s it! Those are the best Divinity Original Sin 2 mods.
